Kelly Whetston’s website brought a new challenge to the iDesigns team. Since we are always up for something new, we embraced the challenge and are very proud of the end result.
Kelly wanted each page of her site to be represented by one of the seven major chakras and their purpose. Providing us with the body image, it was up to us to take it to the next level in design by manipulating the image to emulate each chakra’s energetic body.
The custom headers on each of the seven pages are accompanied by a meditation exercise provided by Kelly herself. As users navigate through the site, they should be able to experience the energy of the chakras on each page.
For the development phase of this site, we recommended building the site in Word Press to take advantage of the blog and content management system (CMS) components. Kelly can easily manage her own site now by adding content, images, videos and audio clips.
Kelly can also manage her site’s digital downloads store. She is able to update her MP3 files and set her own pricing. Buyers receive an email with a link to download the digital file themselves and make their purchase via PayPal.
