Pick A Card Flash Oracle Adds Fun to Website

Melissa Frei created her Spirit Cards for Indigo Kids to be a fun and easy-to-use guidebook for children of all ages. The deck is made of 22 beautifully illustrated cards with a 34 page booklet designed to walk the reader through each card meaning.

A longtime iDesigns customer, it has been Melissa’s dream to have people interact with the Spirit Cards on her website. We have created randomized text oracles in Flash before, but Melissa’s was a new venture. This full Flash Oracle allows the user to pick any card from the deck to receive a free reading as the card appears.

Having a feature like a Flash Oracle helps build website traffic. It keeps visitors on your site and, more importantly, keeps them returning to your site often. Check Out Radleigh’s New Digital Downloads Store!

A popular part of Radleigh Valentine’s site (MagicalThings.com) is his online Radfirmations©. Several people asked him to sell his Radfirmations© on his site so they could listen whenever they wanted — on their PCs, iPods iPhones, etc. We decided a digital download store add-on with a content management system would be the best option for him.

With this new add-on and content management system (CMS), Radleigh can add new mp3s to the digital store, manage his current ones, set pricing and even follow his Radfirmation© sales. All the payments flow right into his PayPal account.

We even took it a step further and customized the look of the digital store to match his current site. Full training on uploading the files and navigating the CMS were included in the package.
