My first “Website” (yes, I use the term “Website” loosely here) was with Yahoo’s Geocities in the early ‘90s. My friends and I mainly used it to post pictures of our favorite celebrities. As of today, October 26, Geocities is no more. If you happen to have any files or content stored on your Geocities service, be sure to back it up or move it today, otherwise, it is gone forever.
